How to use it

1. Check your mortgage is with one of the 16 lenders Sprive supports, such as Nationwide, Halifax, Barclays, Santander, NatWest or HSBC.
2. Open our invite link, download the Sprive app (it works only through the iOS and Android app) and create an account with code CPR1I93Y. The invite says you get Sprive Plus free; Sprive's public pages don't say what it includes, so check what the app shows after joining.
3. Link a current account at a supported bank through Open Banking.
4. Let Sprive find your mortgage: with your permission it reads your credit file once a month by soft search, which doesn't affect your credit score.
5. Set up the direct debit, which Sprive needs before you can make any payment through the app, and set your yearly overpayment limit.
6. If you shop at brands Sprive lists, buy a shopping card in the app before you pay; the reward is added as Reward Credits and can only be paid to your lender. Your first shop before 23:59 on 3 January 2027 also gives you an entry into the Next Mortgage Payment Prize Draw.
